Cal-IPC provides comments on policy related to invasive species, including funding for Weed Management Areas and rules on importation of new plants for the horticultural industry. Our policy activities are conducted in cooperation with CALIWAC, the California Invasive Weeds Awareness Coalition. We participate in National Invasive Weeds Awareness Week, held in Washington, D.C. in February, and Weeds Day at the Capitol in Sacramento.
