Membership and Donations

Join us to protect California's natural ecosystems from invasive plants!
To join the California Invasive Plant Council, or renew an existing membership, you can join or renew online; or, print the membership form and mail it to us with a check for the appropriate membership level.
Benefits of Membership: - Receive the quarterly Cal-IPC News with late breaking information on pest plants, control methods, and policy
- Attend Cal-IPC's annual symposium to share updates on research and control (there is a separate registration fee for the symposium)
- Network with researchers, land managers and local activists
- Participate in Cal-IPC working groups to achieve tangible results
- Discounted joint memberships available with the California Society for Ecological Restoration (SERCAL) and the California Native Grass Association (see order form for prices).
Opportunities for Members: Membership Information: We offer both individual and institutional memberships. Memberships are on a calendar year basis, January to December. If you join mid-year before the annual symposium held in October, you will be mailed the year's previous issues of Cal-IPC News. If you join after the symposium, your membership extends through the following calendar year. Institutional members receive multiple subscriptions to Cal-IPC News; institutional members at the contributing level or above also receive symposium registration discounts. Basic membership levels: - Regular Individual Membership $35
- Student/volunteer $15
- Institutional Membership $150
- Small Company or Nonprofit $100
Or apply by mail: Print the membership form and mail it with your check payable to Cal-IPC or your credit card number. Checks may be mailed to: Cal-IPC, 1442-A Walnut St. #462, Berkeley, CA 94709.
Donations
As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, Cal-IPC gratefully accepts donations to assist our efforts in research, outreach, and education. Donations may be made to Cal-IPC's general fund, or to individual programs such as the Cape Ivy Biocontrol Initiative and the International Broom Initiative.
We are now accepting donations through our website. Online donations to Cal-IPC are processed by PayPal.
