Many of you wish to call from home—now you can. There are several home calling programs set up. These include:

• Calls.JohnKerry.com. You can register as a volunteer at calls.JohnKerry.com to access phone lists of volunteers in swing states. A sample script is provided. The goal is to recruit as many swing state volunteers as possible to canvass neighborhoods and get Kerry supporters to the polls.
• Phone Colorado from home. The Colorado Victory 2004 campaign has set up an online calling list. Click here to get started. This phone campaign ends Nov 1st.
• Phone Florida from home. This online calling list is available only to those who have been to an organized bank before. Go to sfbayareadems4florida.org to get started, or contact Nina Horne at nhdp@sbcglobal.net for more information. This phone campaign ends Nov 1st.

Precinct activity is organized by the Santa Clara County Democratic Party (SCCDP). We are providing some information on their efforts below.

SCCDP volunteers have registered and talked with thousands of voters over the past months. Now we have to make sure they make it to the polls on November 2nd. Please help us in this effort by stopping by the Santa Clara County Democratic party office in San Jose (Almaden) or Palo Alto, or call to get scheduled for a few hours. Volunteers will be phone banking and walking neighborhoods to distribute literature and get out the vote. Poll watchers are also needed on Nov. 2nd.

After the polls close on Election Day, the Santa Clara County Democratic Party will be celebrating our overwhelming victories at all campaign offices. Beginning at 8:01pm on Tuesday—the minute after the polls close—come to your favorite UDC location, watch the returns and party with your fellow Democrats. There will be plenty of food and drink and lots to celebrate!
