Le Projet Gorille Fernan-Vaz (PGFV) is a non-profit organization involved in western lowland gorilla conservation. PGFV operates a gorilla sanctuary and rehabilitation program in Gabon, and provides educational programs for local residents and students on the importance of gorillas to the local environment. PGFV believes in self-sustaining conservation funded in part by responsible eco-tourism.

Their website furthers their mission to spread awareness of the threat to gorillas posed by the bushmeat trade; helps describe their organization and their work to potential donors and volunteers; promotes the sanctuary tours which provide funding for their conservation work; and connects staff in Gabon with a worldwide audience.

Working with the project’s co-director, the PGFV website was completely rebuilt, with a new information architecture, a mobile-responsive design, and multilingual support. Support for donations in both dollars and euros was added for the benefit of the project’s international donor base.
